What We Saw Before the Darkness is the debut studio EP from "Nintendocore" band JumpMan. Produced by Stephen Carter (ex-Gallows), What We Saw Before the Darkness is paradoxically as abrasive and disorientating as it is catchy and melodic, and features abstract lyrics with themes of mental illness, toxic masculinity, war profiteering, and environmentalism.

"Everyone needs a bit of JumpMan's raw power in their life. 8/10"  - Metal Noise

"It's unique, and you can't manufacture that weirdness. This is music that comes from people that want to make it their way with no compromise. 8/10" - Vandalism Begins at Home
